Notice of Suspension in Kalamazoo & Grand Rapids, MI
A concealed pistol license (CPL) may suspended or revoked. Reasons for this vary, but will result upon criminal charges being issued against the individual or if the government receives information that the person may no longer meet any of the other eligibility requirements. That information shall immediately be placed in the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN.)
- If an officer locates an individual who has not received notice of a suspension, the officer should inform the person of the suspension and give him or her an opportunity to comply.
- The officer shall immediately enter into LEIN that notice was given.
