Requirements When Stopped
- When stopped by police, a person with a Michigan concealed pistol license must disclose that he or she is carrying a concealed pistol.
First offense 28.425f(5)(a), second offense 28.425f(5)(b)
- Person must possess pistol license when carrying concealed pistol.
- 28.425f(1)
- A person with a pistol license, who is carrying a pistol, must also carry and display his or her pistol license and valid Michigan driver's license or Michigan ID upon request of a police officer.
