Mr. Thompson received his Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies with honors from Davenport University. While at Davenport, Mr. Thompson earned the designation A.L.P. (Accredited Legal Professional) from NALS...the association for legal professionals, and was accepted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. Over the last seven years, he has assisted attorneys in the areas of Federal and State civil litigation, criminal defense, civil and criminal appellate review cases to the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court, family law, estate, and Medicaid planning, probate and trust litigation and intellectual property law. Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Thompson spent over a decade as a financial advisor focusing on individual retirement and business continuation planning.
